Frequently Asked Questions

The base price includes a turnkey solution for a fully functional, low-maintenance shed. The siding panels are primed in a standard tan color and the walls are 6′ 6″ tall. Buildings less than 80 square feet include a single window. Sheds greater than 80 square feet include 2 windows.

Absolutely! Most sheds fail in the corners where water penetrates porous wood areas. We feel the no maintenance PVC trim is a must to prevent water intrusion and looks awesome!

In general, we provide our standard design with some custom modifications. If you have a special feature like a specific door or window, we may be able to incorporate it for an additional fee. If you do require a complete custom design, we can provide some recommendations.

Almost all sites require some leveling which we will take care of. We accomplish this through digging, trenching, and placing solid concrete blocks for the shed joists to rest on. Some areas require extra leveling if the height difference is less more than 12″ from side to side or front to backIf we require 4″ x 4″ posts or 6″x6″ posts (Rarely) this will incur an additional fee. The optimal shed base is either a concrete slab or a crushed stone pad surrounded by 6″ x 6″ timbers and if interested, we can put you in contact with several contractors

Our all inclusive pricing includes minor leveling but we request, when possible, that there be 3′ clearance around the shed from branches and shrubs. Also, high branches that would interfere with the roof of the shed should be cut. We can do minor cutting of branches and shrubs if required.

Yes, we can build on existing slabs but cannot pour new concrete slabs or piers. We can refer you to a few concrete contractors.

All of our 2″ x 6″ foundation joists are spaced 16″ on center. Sheds 200 sqft or greater have studs placed 16″ on center with a double top plate. Less than 200 sqft will have studs spaced 24″ on center. There is an option to add 16″ o.c. studs to any size shed.

Our History

My name is Dan and I started our company in 2018 after my own frustration with the complex and disappointing process of trying to buy a simple shed with features I wanted from a big box store. Now, after building nearly 500 hundred sheds, attracting some great builders, and listening to our customers, we’ve established a great local company that strives to build premium sheds with great service to our fellow Rhode Islanders. I am involved with every build and you will always have a point of contact should your shed ever need maintainance or repair. We are so thankful for our customers that allow us to work outdoors in such a beautiful state.
